Archdeacon Will 1708 #39 Maughold of Ann Costean als Cannon, died 26
March 1708 intestate.

Anne Costin als Cannon departed this life abt the 26th of March last
intestate, whereof the Court having intelligence hath decreed her
onely child Margt Costen sole Administr of all her goods movable and
unmovable whatsoever, the two Aunts Margt and Isabell Cannon
supervisors, and a legacy to the husband upon sight of the Inventory.
Decretum est & Solvit 2s 11d.

The husband with the 2 Supervisors sworn in Court in form of Law.

The Inventory taken in form of Law ---  £05 : 15s : 05d

The child and goods in the hands of the husband with the consent of
the Supervisors, who hath given pledges in form of Law Robt Xtian & Wm
Calow, but if ye sd child die under age ye husband in consideration of
bringing up ye child is to have half of her goods, ye Supervisors[?]
entering in their own hands half ye Lands & crops during his minority,

given pledge Edwd Kewley of KK Lonnan.  Before me, Wm Gell Register

March 25th 1734: Wm Quayle husband of Margt Costean Adminrx of her
Mothr: Ann Costean als Cannon acknowledges to be fully paid &
satisfy’d by his Fathr in Law Ewan Costean for whatever became due to
the sd Margt by the Decease of her sd Mothr & does hereby for himself
& wife did acquit & discharge his sd Fathr in Law of the same for
