33          Peeltown
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament 
of Nelly Lace als Kelly, who departed this life 
about the 9th February 1716/7, being in perfect 
mind and memory at the making thereof.
First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. 
Item, she left to her sons John & Henry Lace 
ten shillings betwixt them. 
Item, she left to her husband a while blanket 
& all the cloth that was in the house. 
Ttem, she left to her son John’s daughter two 
yards of cloth to make her a coat. 
Item, she left to her daughter Jane the large 
chest. And her linens to her said daughter Jane 
and her son Harry’s daughter. 
Item, she left to her son Robert Lace her part 
of the houses & gardens; and if the said son 
Robert would follow bad ways & turn spendthrift, 
then she left the said houses & gardens to her 
daughter Jane Sumpter als Lace. 
Lastly, she appointed and constituted her aforesaid
son Robert Lace sole Executor of all the rest of 
her goods moveable & immoveable whatever.

Henry Wattleworth, 
John Gell. 

The Executor sworn in form of Law. 
Pledges the witnesses of the Will.
