Michael Oct 16 1718 Wm Quaile of Ballaskir departed this life about the 20th of July last intestate whereupon the church hath decreed his 3 children Wm, Jony, and Tho Quaile sole and joint administrators of all his goods moveable and immoveable whatseover. John and Hugh Quaile with Wm Quaile and Patrick Cain husband of Joney and Catherine Quaile overseers and a legacy to the widow upon sight of the inventory vizt 20 shillings. The widow and overseers are sworn in form of law. The goods and children are in the overseers hands, who are bound and pledges the one for the other. Jun 9 1721. The goods of Wm Quaile (of Ballaskir) having been committed to the custody of Wm Quaile of Cammal, Jo: and Hugh Quaile and Patr Cain, they have now surrendered the same to the widow viz Joney Quaile als Cannell who has given pledges, Wm Quaile and Patrick Cain above said. The widow obliges herself to give of the crop and team to the heirs upon the appraisement. It is also consented by the supervisors that the widow is to have all the goods in case the children died under age. Inventory not typed.
