                         KK Maughold,  1718

	This is affirmed to be the last will and Testamt. of
    Wm: Callow, otherwise Brown, of ye parish of KK Maughold
	who departed this life about ye 20th of June last Ano: 1718
	being in perfect mind and memory at ye making of the Same
Imps:	he committed his Soule to God and Body to Christian
	Burial, He left and bequeathed his own Robe Clothes to
	Margtt: Callow and his wast Coate and shurt, and She to wash him
Itm: to Thos Quaile his own vest and a pair of Stockins And
    to James Corkill a pair of Stockins. Itm : to Wm: Callow his Son & 
    his Daughtr : Margtt: half a cowe wch: he had in the keeping of
    Dan Lowey, and her in Crease, for their part of their Mothers
    goods. He willd and appointed Robt: Cowen to give Ten Shills
    to the sd Wm: Callow and Margtt: Callow, and Ten Shills more
    wch: was in his own Custody he bequeathed to them likewise
Itm: he left and bequeathed his Croft, called Brown's Croft wth
    all ye houses and Gardens, to his Step son Robt. Cowen and to
    his wife to have and posses the same during their natural
    life time, and then to return to his own next relation
Lastly, he nominated and appointed the said Robt: Cowen Sole
    Executr: of all ye rest of his goods and Effects moveable & 
    and unmoveable whatsoever _

Articles of Marriage Condisioned unto Concluded & agreed upon by &
betwixt Wm. Callow otherwise called Browne in behalfe of his Step-Son Robert
Cowne on ye one part, & Barbary Corkill on her own part as follows __ 
Impe: It is Concluded & agreed upon [yt] ye sd. Robt. Cowne & Barbary Corkill Shall
Enter into ye holy Estate of Matrimony before ye feast of St. John Baptizt god
& holy Church permitting ye same
2ly. The sd. Wm. Callow doth Conditionally give to his sd. Step Son & Barbary his
intended wife all his whole Substance of goods & Chattells of wt. Kind or Deno=
=ination Soever for Ever, Excepting one halfe a cow wch. Is in Daniell Loweys
keeping & due to his son Wm. & Margt. Callow his Daughter now in Dublin, in
liew of their Mothers part of goods wth. two Shills. Legasie a peice yt. He bequea
=ths them of his own proper goods & finally discharges ym. Both from having
any claim or right to any part or parcell of their fathers part of goods for
Ever hereafter, onely [reserveing] for his Son Wm. Callow or his Children the .
whole right Tytle & Interest yt. he now hath unto his share of ye Croft -
House & garden wth. Its Easements after ye death of ye Longest Liver of ye
Abovesd Robt. Cowne & Barbary his wife & not before
3ly. We ye sd. Robt. Cowne & Barbary his now intended wife do hereby bind &
oblidge our selves to give & provide to & for ye sd. Wm. Callow during his
natural Life Convenient & Necessary food & [Easment] wth. all Comfortable
attendance both in Sickness & in health as reason & good. [Conseionie] doth re=
=quire to be done According to ye best of our power & Ability wth. all due regard
to his great age & Corporall Infirmities now in his last & declining days -
For ye performance of all & singular ye promises we the above written parties
viz: Wm. Callow Robt. Cowne & Barbary Corkill do bind & oblidge our selves
to ye punctuall performance of all & Singular ye above Covenants & Conditions
& yt. in ye penalty of [..] Sterling ye one halfe thereof to ye Honebls. Ld. of 
this Isle & ye other halfe to ye partie or parties performing Conditions: to
testifie that this is our Mutual & Joynt agreemt. We have Caused our -
Names to be Subscribed, & have Anexed our Marks this 4 of May 1714
