33     KK Maughold, the 25 of October 1720[?]
The last will and testament of Elener Callow als Corkill
wife to William Callow in the parish of KK Maughold 
who departed this life 18 of April 1720. 
First she bequeathed her soul to God and her body 
to a Christian burial and as for her temporal goods
she hath bequeathed and disposed of them as followeth. 
She bequeathed to her loving husband
William Callow all her goods moveable and unmoveable 
whatsoever and likewise she xxx xxx her
said husband to pay and clear all debts and funeral 
charges. And she left six pence apiece legacy to
the witnesses that was present at the making of the 
said will and her said husband whole Executor of
her goods whole & sole and to bring up the children. 
This is truth as witness our hands and marks

The husband being very poor, and no relation appearing, 
he is therefore sworn in Court in form of
Law. The husband by xxx of his oath xxx that there will 
be very little goods remaining after the
payment of all debts. However he Inventories for the 
children, and the mother’s part five shillings.
The children and goods in the father’s hand who 
hath given pledges William Callow junior & William
Callow senior
