Maughold 1720 The Last will & Testament of Kathrine Calow wife to ~ Willm Calow (Claughbande) in ye psh of KK Maughold who departed This Life the fifth of June 1720 as Followeth Imp She Bequeathed her soul unto God and her Body unto Christian Buriall. Itm She Left unto her son Edward Calow (with the Consent of her Husband Wm Calow) the house & Garden in Ramsey of the Annual Rent of fourpence=half penny, and the sd Edw: to be ~ paid & satisfied therewith for wt soever was comeing & due to him from her & her husband Wm Calow, and if the sd Edward would not be satisfied wth ye sd house & Garden, that then he was to ~ be cut off with sixpence Legacy, & to be paid wtever was due to him from her & her Husband aforesd, Itm she left to her Daughter Joney Calow, Twenty pounds if she ~ Would doe according or after her fathers will & advise ^ in her Marriage But if she would doe against his will, that then she was to get but ~ Twelve pounds, Itm She left to her Daughtr in Law Mgt ^ Margt Calow, the Big Kieve ~ Itm she left Isabell Cowle a Little Heiffer, Itm she left to Wm Kneale & James Corkill six pence a piece Legacy Lastly she Nominated & Constituted her Loveing husband Wm Calow ~ Sole Executr of all ^ ye rest of her goods moveable & unmoveable wtsoever Witnesses hereof Wm Kneal his mark X } James Corkill } jurati Oct. 13. 1720 The Exr sworn in form of Law & hath given pledges His son McDaniel Callow & James Corkil probatum est & solvit
