26 KK Andreas Nelly Skinner als Tear departed this life about the 23d March 1720 intestate, whereof the Court having intelligence hath decreed her four children vizt., John, William, Bessy, & Daniel Xtian[?] Admrs of all her goods movable & immovable, who are all under age, their father is sworn in Court in form of Law, to whom a legasy shall be order’d upon sight of the Inventory. Decretum est & Solvit 2s 0d. The Inventory in movable goods in ye dead’s part 00:14:00; Immovable goods on ye Deads part 01:15:10; The remainder after the seed was sown 00:05:00; The crop to be added next Court, which amounts to 4 pounds 3 shillings 11pence 02:01:8, [total] 4:16:06. The whole Debt betwixt husband & wife is 1 pound : 7 shillings : 9 pence, the Dead’s part thereof is about (----d being his to thes[?] quick goods) 00:12:06; The funeral charges, Court Fees, &c 00:11:00; The Legacy to the husband is 4s besides 2 stookes of Barley, in regard he takes the children unto his own hands 00:04:00; Half ye Rent & charges of reaping &c 00:1:06; [subtotal] 1:18:00; More added for hemp & flax, ye Dead’s part 2:18:06; 0:01:00. The goods & children in the Father’s hands who hath given pledges John Kneen & tho: Ratciff.”
