54          Jurby 1721
This is affirmed to be the last will and testament 
of Kathrin Tear als Credjeen who departed this 
life the 21th November anno 1721, being of 
sound mind & memory.  First she committed her 
soul to God and her body to Christian burial.  
Itt, She left & bequeathed to Dollin Tear her son 
& heir half the crop of corn, half the team, and 
half of all the husbandry gears after her husband's decease.  
Itt, She left unto her sd son Dollin her moiety of 
a young heifer & her husband consented to give his half.   
Itt, She left t her other children Daniel & Mary 
Tear fourty shillings apiece legasie to be paid 
them when they came to the age of 21 years.  
Itt, she left her children Dollin, Daniel, & Mary 
Tear three sheep, also she left yt Dollin Tear her 
son was to pay his sister Mary 30 shillings when 
he was to enjoy & possess the half crop of corn, 
team & husbandry gears.  
Itt, She left & desired her husband James Tear yt 
he should set his son Daniel Tear to a trade, vizt., 
tailors trade, & yt if he could not with conveniencey 
xxx get him xxxx himself, whilst he was at the trade, 
her husband was obliged to the paymt of a boul 
of corn.   Itt, She left to her brother Daniel Credjeen 
five shillings legasie.   Itt, to her sister in law Magret 
Credjeen als Skally her cloths.  Itt, to her daughter 
Mary her linen clothes.   Itt, She left to Ellinor Clark 
a quoife & pinner.  Itt, to the witnesses of the 
will l6d apiece legasie.  Lastly she nominated & 
appointed her loveing husband James Tear sole & 
whole Executor of all the rest of her goods moveable 
& unmovable of wt kind soever.

Margret Skally als Corkill, 
Philip Cristry, jurati.                       

Decembris 4th: 
The Execr sworn in form of Law as also ye uncle 
Daniel Credjeen is sworn supervisor.  
Pledges for the Legacy's due to ye children &c are 
Philip Cristry & Mich. Kneen[?].
