47   Bride
In the name of God, amen. I John Parr, Rector of KK Bride, being 
now weak and infirm but of perfect mind and memory, and calling 
to mind the uncertainty of human life, do therefore think it xxx 
and necessary to make my last will and testament in manner and 
form following. 
First, I do recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God, who 
gave it me, beseeching him to pardon and forgive my manifold sins 
and transgressions through the merits and mediation of my most 
blessed Saviour Christ Jesus. And my body to be decently buried 
in a Christian manner, in the Chancel or if it may be on the north 
side of the Altar Table in KK Bride, as my Executrix shall think 
most convenient. 
As for my worldly goods wherewith it has pleased God to bless me, 
I leave and bequeath them thus. 
To the poor of KK Bride, a bowl of barley. 
To my daughter Ellinor ten pounds. 
To my sons Cesar, William, John, James, Robert and Charles Parr 
forty shillings apiece as legacy. 
To my daughter Elisabeth ten pounds as legacy. 
To my sister Mary Christian of Ramsey a bowl of barley. 
I do lastly nominate, constitute and appoint my dear and loving 
wife sole and lawful Executrix of all the rest of my goods moveable 
and immoveable whatever, desiring her to take care of my children, 
especially the three youngest, and to assist them to set them up 
in some useful trades and implements, in order to procure an honest 
livelihood In the world: whom I also entreat to be kind to my grandson 
John Peling. In testimony whereof I have xxx xx xxxx my name hereunto, 
Feb 11, 1722.

Mr. Robert Curghey of the Carrick, [Lezayre] enters a claim against 
the Executrix of the Revd. Mr. John Parr for the sum of twenty four 
shillings, and craves the Law
