25 Kirk Lezayre 1724

This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of William Quayle of
Blockery of the parish of KK Christ Lezayre who departed this life on or
about the 22 Jan 1770 being of sound mind and memory at the making thereof
sometime before his decease.  First he comitted his soul to God and his body
to Christian Burial.
ITEM - He left and bequeathed to his son John Quayle and to his grandson
John Quayle his part of the sheep which go or run under the name or known by
the name of the Cha u lack sheep excepting two yearlings which he reserved
and left to William Quayle his grandson.
ITEM:  He left to his son John Quayle a cobbist and said John Quayle giving
his executor hereafter mentioned and old chist in lieu of said cobbist.
ITEM - He left to his said grandson Wm Quayle a horse called the Bock bwee
and his part of the at present crop and a likwise a bedstead, after the
decease of his executor.
ITEM - He left to his said grandson John Quayle his part of the sheep which
are called and known by the name of Koney ne howne reserving a she sheep of
two year old of said sheep which he left and to Cath Quayle his
granddaughter.
ITEM - He left to said John Quayle his grandson half a steer and likewise to
him said John Quayle and Jane Quayle his granddaughter a mair betwixt them
they paying each of them five shillings unto Patt Caley his grandson.
ITEM - He left to said Jane Quayle his granddaughter a colt, a coverlet, and
a blanket.    
ITEM - He left to Daniel Curphey   ---- old -----.
LASTLY - He nominated constitute and appointed his loving wife Margaret
Quayle sole executor of all the rest of his goods what soever and six pence
a piece to every one that would devise to brack or ----- this his last will
and six pence to each of the witnesses hereof.
At a Chapter Court holden at Lezayre 22 May 1770 The executor is sworn in
court in form of law and hath given pledges for payment of debts and
legacies  viz Thomas Corlett of the Drueen Wm Quayle her son of Blockearey.
