The last will and testament of Allice Clucas alias 
Kermatt of the Parish of KK Marown who departed this 
life the 9th day of February 1724/5, is as followeth. 
In the name of God, amen. Xxxx being of perfect sound 
mind and memory, she first committed her soul to the 
cure and protection of Almighty God that gave it, 
and next her body to the earth from whence it came 
and to be buried after a decent Christian manner, and 
as for such worldly goods as God was pleased to endue 
her with she bequeathed them after the following manner. 
Imprimis, she bequeathed unto her son John Clucas 
one cow, one midleing chest and one iron pot. 
Item, she bequeathed unto her granddaughter Isable 
Farger alias Clucas one mutton which is in Thomas 
Canan’s keeping and a bruss skillet and a salt. 
Item, she bequeathed unto her grandson William 
Clucas one sheep. 
Item, she bequeathed unto her grandson John Clucas 
one sheep. 
Item, she bequeathed unto her grandson Henry Clucas 
one yearling. 
Item, she bequeathed unto her loving daughter Isable 
wife unto John Kissag one feather bed and boulster, 
one blanket and one sheet, and a cours canvas and 
half of her wearing apparel. 
Item, she bequeathed unto her loving daughter Margrett 
wife unto John Quirk the half of her wearing apparel 
and a pewter dish and one pewter candlestick, one 
blanket, one sheet and one course canvas. 
Item, she bequeathed unto Ewan Christian of Balnaquinney 
four shillings in money. And lastly, she constituted, 
appointed and ordained her loving sons William and 
Henery Clucas both sole and whole Executors of all 
the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever. 
This is the last will and testament of the above 
Allice Clucas alias Kermatt made in the presence 
of us witnesses, vizt., 
Thomas Killey, 
Margrett Faile.
