41        KK Michael, Jan 28th, 1724
In the name of God, amen. I Christian Cannon of Coolshellagh 
in the above said parish, being (blessed be God) sick and 
weak in body, but of good and perfect mind and memory, do 
make this my last will and testament in manner and form following: 
First, I commit my soul into the hands of God and my body 
to Christian burial. 
Item, I leave the poor of the Parish to be considered at the 
discretion of my Executors hereafter to be named. 
Item, I leave and bequeath to my dear husband my share of 
the riding horse. 
To my son John an heifer of near two years old, and to my son 
William an heifer supposed to be in calf. 
Item, I bequeath to my godson at Liargeybreck an heifer of 
near 2 years old, and to William Cowley’s wife & daughter a 
sheep and lamb each. 
Item, I leave to my son Charles whatever he has already 
received without being accountable to the other Executors 
with his choice cow in the division. 
Item, I leave to my son John & his wife & child a sheep & 
lamb each, and a lamb to Margaret Cannon junior. 
Item, I leave to the minister, & the other witnesses of 
this my will a mutton each. 
And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my three sons 
vizt., Hugh, William, & Charles sole & joint Executors of 
all the rest of my goods & effects whatsoever. 
In testimony of all which I cause my mark to be affixed to 
my name the day and year above written.
