149           Ballaugh, Feb 1724
This is affirmed to be the last will of Wm Tear 
who departed this life the 5th of Feb 1724.  
Imprs, he commended in sound mind & memory, 
his soul to God & body to Christian burial.  
Item, he left all his goods moveable & 
immoveable whatsoever equally betwixt his 
wife & children, vizt., the one half to ye wife 
& the other to the children.   
& Lastly committed the tuition of his sd 
children to his wife, who, he said, knew how 
it stood wth him as to his debts.  
Witnesses: 
Philip Curlet, 
Mary Curlet, jurati.                    
Probat: & Solvt 1s.    
The children being underage their mother is 
sworn according to Law, & gave pledges
