COSTEAN, John 1724-1 Cas A 17 0106212 Archdeacon Will 1724 #17 Malew of John Costean of Castletown, dated 26 March 1722 at top. 17 Castletown, March ye 26: 1722 The last will and testament of John Costean of Castletown, being in perfect mind and memory orders his worldly goods and chatles which God of his goodness was pleased to bestow upon him in maner following: first, He commits his soul to God his creator and his body to Christian burial. 2dly, He leaves and bequeaths to his two nieces vizt: the wife of John Corrin Ballagawn and the wife of William Cowley in Coulby both in the parish of KK Arbory all his housel goods equily to be divided betwixt them bouth. 3dly, He leaves and bequeaths to Willm Clague of Castletown son to his nephew William Clague his hous and garden in Castletown, and in default of lawfull issue sd hous linely[?] to descent to the next kindred of the sd Will Clague Jnr. 4thly He appoints the sd William Clague Jnr to be his whole and sole Excr: of all his goods and effects whatever cutting all clamers of with 6d pence legacy.
