JOUGHIN, Ewan 1724-2 Bri A 168 0106212 This is affirmed to be the last will and Testam't of Ewan Joughin of the affore said parish of KK Bride who departed this life about the 28th of February in the year 1724 Being in perfect mind & Memory at the Making of the same. Imp's He Committed his Soule to God, And Body to Christian Burial. He left and bequeathed to his Sons Jo'n Joughin Dan: Joughin Ewan & Cath: Joughin Twenty Shills apiece to Each of them. Itm to his Son Jo'n Joughin two sheep And a Sheep & a yearling to his affore Said Daught'r Catherin Joughin. Itm He declared that there was due to him from Jo'n Christian jun'r of Ballacallow the Sum of Three pounds Sterl which lent to the Said Jo'n about 3 years ago And the Deceadent further declared that he gott no Interest from John Cowle Ballavarkis the Sum of one pound Eight Shillings. Due also from John Cotter of “---” in the parish of KK Lezayre the Sum of twenty shillings Itm from Wm Cowle Jun'r of Shellag 4d = 7d Itm Due from Dan: Kneale two shillings and fourpence Itm Due from Dan: Christian Senior of Ballanagonney fourteen pence w'ch he Lent him And from Christian Christian of Cranstle voare 11d Item Due from Jo'n Christian Ballaquark 14d Itm Due from Thomas Moore 13d ; He bequeathed to the Witnesses of this his last will Six pence Legacy apiece.
