JOUGHIN, Mally 1724-2 Bri A 169 0106212 The last Will & Testament of Mally Joughin who departed this life ye 21st Dec'r 1724 and was in perfect mind & memory at ye making of it. Imprimis She committed her Soul to God and her Body to Xtian Burial. Item, She left to Marg't Cotter thirty shillings. Item She left to Christian Cotter thirty shillings. And if either of them shu'd die, then the Survivor shu'd have the whole three pounds. And if both of them shu'd die, the above money was to return to their mothers side. Item She left to Marg't Joughin her Sister, two shillings, a petticoat, [Bussell] & coif Item to her Brother Wm Joughin five shillings, if he came for it. Item She left Six pence Legacy to her Brothers & Sisters to cut them off from having any right in her Goods, if they were not Satisfied with the above Legacy's. Item she declared that Marg't Joughin BallaKossy owed her five shillings three pence, John Cowle Son five shilling; Philip Joughin five shillings; Robt Kneen two shillings; Wm Christian Ballaman a New Sack; John Garret jun'r (Vallan) eighteen pence. Lastly She constituted & appointed her Niece Jane Gill Sole Exec'x of all the rest of her Goods moveable & immoveable whatever. To ye Witnesses a Legacy as ye Exec'x shall think fitt, viz't 7d each.
