The last will and testament of Mary Christian als Quayle of the above
said parish who being of perfect mind and memory.
Impris commmited her soul to God and body to Christian burial.
Item she left her part of the sheep which were bequeathed to her by her
father Wm Quayle of Cammal late decease to her son Wm Christian.
Item she bequeath to her daughter Anne Christian all her cloathes linnen and
woolen which in case of her said daughters's death she left to her sisters
in law.
Item she left to the curate three shillings
To Wm Kewley the apprentice ten shillings
She left 6 shillings legacy to whomsoever shall claim any right her
goods.
And lastly constituted her two children aforesaid joint executors of all
of her goods, chattels and effects moveable and immoveable whatsoever at
same time declaring it as her will that if it please God to call her
said children she left to her sister in law Cath Christian twenty
shillings - ten shillings each to her sisters in law and Esther and to her
loving husband Wm Christian, Smith, all the remainder whatever.

anno one of the executors being died and the other executors Wm under age
the supervisors Wm, John, and Pat Kelly are to be sworn before next court in
the meantime the executors father Wm Christian is sworn in
form of law.  June 21th 1725
Supervisors are sworn secund legis
The inventory within a month.
The goods in the hands of the father who has pledges Mr John Woods Curate of
this Parish and Henry -------

At Ballaugh June 21st 1725
The debts being considerable the father with consent of the supervisors
gives in for the children's inventory free and debtless the deads part of
the purchased land and of the Smithy and another little house the said
little house being built on the purchased land.
The child is also to have the house and garden settled as heirship in his
fathers contract vizt when the same falls in course after his father's
decease.

March 7th 1749 John Cannell husband of the legatee Catherine Christian als
Cannell (Catherine Christian Cannell died 2 Dec 1794 Will for
Catherine Christian Episc 1794 0106404) or 0106232 #60 KM) within named came
this day to the Registry and acknowledges that he several years ago received
whatever was due to his said wife by the within will
and does hereby acquit and discharge the executor or his heirs executors and
assigns for the same forever.
