136          Bride
This is affirmed to be the last will or testament of Elis.(or Elir) alias 
Christian who departed this life on or about the 24th January 1724/5 as follows
First, she committed her soul to God and body to Christian burial
Item, she bequeathed to her son Charles Lace all her part of the 
sheep excepting three or four sheep and lambs she desired Charles 
might give unto her son Philip Lace. 
Item, she bequeathed to her daughter in law Ann Lace a gold ring 
with a black serge petticoat; and to her granddaughter Chrstian 
Lace her riding hood and a red petticoat. 
Item, she left a black mantue to her daughter Chriss of Cranstole
Item, she left all the rest of her apparel to be disposed of 
among the family of her daughter in law Ann’s discretion. 
Item, she left half a steer to her son Charles who she left 
to see her decently buried. 
Lastly, she nominated and appointed her son Philip Lace sole 
Executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable 
and left 6 pence apiece to the witnesses of this her last will 
as above said.
