135        KK Bride, March 20, 1724
In the name of God, Amen.I Wm. Christian 
Capt of KK Bride, sick and very infirm in 
body, but of good and perfect memory, 
praised be God, do make my last will and 
testament in manner following: 
First, I commend my Soul to Almighty God, 
and my body to Christian burial.  
It., I leave and bequeath to the poor of 
the parish a firlet of barley, to be equally 
distributed amongst them.  
It., I bequeath to my wife the best riding horse.  
It., to my son & heir halfe the crop & team and 
half the husbandry gears, in consideration 
thereof he has obliged himself to pay half 
of all my several debts now due at my death.  
It., To the rest of my children three pound 
legacy to be equally distributed amongst them.  
Itm., to my goddaughter Elis: Parr an ewe lamb.  
It., To the Rector of the parish a mutton.  
It., to his son Jon. Parr a lamb.  
It., To the Clerk of the parish a sheep and lamb.  
It., I nominate and appoint my loving wife 
Jane Christian Executrix of all the rest of 
my good moveable and immoveable whatsoever.  
Testes
Robt Parr, 
Dan: Christian, jurati.                  
The executrix sworn in form of Law. 
Probatum est & solvit 12d.  Pledges 
the witnesses. The mother hath the goods 
of the children under age vizt., Daniel & Jane Xtian.                   

Feb 28, 1725/6
Daniel Garret, in behalf of Isabel, Charles, 
& Margt Christian enters a claim against ye 
Executors of Captn Wm Xtian for &ound;4 : 10 : 3½ 
.... 17d, ye further sum of three pounds due 
by marriage contract to his wife, & 
of other accounts & craves trial.                      

Oct 28, 1725
Jo: Cowle BallaVarkus enters for 17s 4d & craves ye Law.      

Novr 27, 1729
John Cowle has accepted of 8s for all the above 
claim, & does acquit the Executrix and all parties 
..... for ye same & on all other .... for ever.
