KK Malew 1726 John, David & Ellinr Creer of Castletown departed this life Intestate, whereof the Court having Intelligence hath Decreed the next Rela tions, vizt John & Willm Creer of KK Braddan uncles of the Decedts joint Admrs of all goods chattles & efffects belonging to the sd Decedents moveable & imoveable, & the Admrs are accor dingly sworn in form of law. Decretum & solvit 2s=4d Salvo tamen &c Pledges Tho Taubman and Tho Waterson At Bishop's Court Sept 6th 1726 The controversy between Jon & Wm Creer of KK Braddan on ye one pt & John Cain of Castletown on the othr touching the House & garden of Christophr Creer & his wife Anne late of the sd Town, is come to this conclusion, vizt The sd Jon Cain is to give to Jon Creer for his Qr of the sd house & garden, the sum of three pds, whereof twenty shills to be pd at next Christmas twenty shills at Candlemass, & the other twenty shills at Lady day, provided the sd Jon Cain shall marry the sd Creer's niece Jane Creer; otherwise the sd Cain is to pay for the said Quarter of the premises ten shills more, to wch end the sd Jon Cain has given him four: teen pence Earnest (sic), & both parties bound themselves to these agreemts in Twenty pound fine according to Law. Witness their marks to their names ye year & day above written.
