15 Malew This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of NORRIS YOUNG who departed this life the 3d of Decr 1726 who being sick and weak in body but of perfect memory at the making hereof, First, he bequeathed two powls which was Crost his house one to Mr. John Taubman and the other to Henery Kermod. Item, he bequeathed to Henery Kermod all what small goods else he had in the house. Item, he left and bequeathed his house wherein he lived to Mr. John Taubman, David Kenedy & Henery Kermod equally betwixt them for ever excluding and debareing all his friends and relations from any right to the sd house. Lastly, he constituted and appointed Mr. John Taubman, David Kenedy, and Henery Kermod to be his execrs. Testes: Robert Quay, Mark Cain, jurati. Mr. Joh. Taubman & David Kenedy two of ye Execrs are sworn in Court in form of Law, ye other being absent. Probatum est & Solvit 1s. The witnesses are pledges. Willm. Sedden of Scarlet enters his Caveat agt a will made by Norris Young wherein he has disposed of a certain cottage or chamber in Castletown of 12d rent, wch property belongs to the farm of Scarlett wch the sd Wm Sedden hath purchased, and the same is comprehended in the Leaf of Scarlett, & for wch the sd Wm Sedden hath paid the fine upon his entry. Scarlott: 10th Aprill 1706 recde hereof per Jo: Quayle old Colons 44s 5d. 12th March 1707: Recd the remainder being 22s 3d as pd by Mr. Sedden, Waterbayliffe in his behalf. KK Malew: John Norris, Scarlott, for a quarter & a half of Land 3 pounds 3s double Rent compounded for in 1643 by Jo Norris his father fine then for this and 4s called the Lough and for a cottage of chamber in Castletown of 12d rent was 5pound onelife in being so to pay now, 03 : 06 : 08.
