This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of 
Ann Cormoad als Tear who departed this life about the 
beginning of February 1727/8, being of sound mind and 
memory at the making thereof. 
First, she committed her soul to God and her 
body to Christian burial. 
She left her grandson John Cormoad her part of a young 
bullock. 
She left to the children of her son Daniel 4 sheep in 
number what sort soever. 
She left to her daughter Catharine two or three sheep 
and two or three pound of wool. 
She left to her son Daniel twenty shillings. 
(William Kneal one of the witnesses declaring that 
being to see the Testatrix some days after she told 
him that though she had left her son Daniel twenty 
shillings, upon consideration she left him but twelve 
and the other eight shillings of the twenty to her 
daughter Catharine). 
She left to her daughter Catharine what was due to her 
from Daniel Dowan; 
she declared that there was due to her from John Tear 
Kleau-venee the sum of fourteen shillings, as also 
from Ewan Curghey the sum of twelve shillings, and 
from Daniel Christian the sum of ten shillings. 
Lastly, she constituted and appointed her son John
Cormoad Executor of all the rest of her goods moveable 
and immoveable whatsoever, desiring him that he would 
remember the children.

Daniel Dowan, 
William Kneal. 

The Executor is sworn in form of Law and 
gave pledges John Saile and William Kneal
