This is affirmed to be the last Will and Testament of Kathrine
Lawson alias Kaneen of KK Andreas who departed the life Sept. 19 1729
being of perfect mind an memory at the making thereof. Imprs She
comitted her soul to God and her body to Xtian burial. Itm. She will'd &
bequeath'd to her so David Lawson all her houses and bought or purchased
Lands, a chair, form, dishþboard, a pott, gridle, a barrel, all the sheep, and ye
loom. Itm. She left ye cropp to be equaly us'd by her sd son David & her daughter
Bahee, and the profits arising by & out of the herring netts are to be equally
shar'd betwixt them also while they both do live together and no longer, and
the ye sd netts are to be wholly ye sd Davids own. Itm. She left to her said
daughter Bahee Lawson a feather bed, a bigg wooleen wheel, tweny shillings
that are in Wm Cannel's hand, and twenty shillings that are in the hands
of a certain person whom her sd children themselves know, and twenty shill
ings more of ye money morgag'd in a parcel call'd Cabbal-Vartin, as also
a white blanket, Itm. she left ot her sd son David Lawson ye further sum
of fourty shillings that are morgag'd in CabbalþVartin aforesd who is
also to have all ye sd morgag'd land paying his Sister ye twenty shillings
as above sd. Itm. She left to her son Richard Lawson three shillings legacy.
Itm, She left to James and John Lawson bis brother one shilling two pence each
to Richd Lawson their brother as much haddin as will do a waistcoat for him
and to his sister Kathr an ewe lamb. Itm she left to her daughter Joney
a little wheel legacy. Itm. Of two holyþday petticoats she left ye choice to
her daughr Bahee and ye other to her daughter Joney wth halfe her shap'd
linnen clothes. Lastly she nominatd and appointed her said son David
Lawson and Bahee Lawson her daughtr sole & joine Execrs of all ye
rest of her Goods moveable & immoveable whatsoever, To the witnesses
of the Will 6d each
