   This is affirmed by the present wit=
=nesses tobe the last Will & Testament of
Daniel Looney of KK Lon: who departed
this life about the 29th of March 1729
First committing his sould to God & body to
Christian burial.
   Then he bequeathed and left in legacy
to his beloved wife the biggest man colt
and a chest with ... in ... as it was
and a bolster & feather=bed as it was during her
life and to come to Daniel his on & heir
after her death; his sd wife consenting there
=unto; Itm he left to his sd son Dan in legacy
a large chest his wife giving her consent
thereto; Itm he left to ye sd Dan his son & heir
all his right & title of intack and purcha=
=sed land in the parish of KK Lonan, his wife
consenting to give her part to him also
after her death; he ordered his sd son Dan
to give twenty pounds to his five children,
viz mary, James, Jane, kathrine and Anne
equally betwixt them; as they would desire it

and if so be his on Thos would come to ye
Island & claim any right, he is to get ten
shillings of the sd 20shil; he ordered Dan his son
and heir to bestow a bier upon the parish,
when he would be cutting down trees, in Laxey
Garden, & the timber fit for it; Lastly he
nominated, appointed, and hordained his sd son
Daniel, sole Eecr of all the rest of his
goods moeable & immoveable whatsoever.

the wife has consented to the Will in every particular
& yt both ye Inatcks & puchased lands, as far as
she is concerned, shall fall to her eldest son
in ye nature of inheritance, after her decease

I do hereby acknowledge to have received from and by the
hands of my bro Daniel Looney all that is due to me by the
decease of my father the late Daniel Looney of Ballamoar and
I do hereby not only acknowledge the receipt of the said goods
but do also acquit and discharge him from any further claim
or damage upon the said ... or any other as witness my name
and mark the 12th of June 1735 James Looney my J mark
