27     Lonan
In the name of God, amen. I Mary Moore of Balldromey, 
being sick and weak in body, but of sound and perfect 
memory, praised be to God, do make and ordain this 
my last will and testament, in manner and form following. 
First, I commit my soul into the hands of God, 
and my body to be Christianly and decently buried, 
in the parish church of KK Lonan, hoping through 
the merits of Christ Jesus my Saviour and Redeemer 
to have full and free pardon of all my sins and 
of a blessed resurrection, with the just; 
and as for what worldly goods I have, I do 
dispose of them, as followeth. 
I leave and bequeath unto my brother James his 
eldest daughter Isable Moore a silk mantle and 
a cottin apron. 
Item, I leave and bequeath unto his daughter 
Mary a pair of bodys and a stomachacher. 
Item, I leave and bequeath unto my sister 
Ellin Skillicorn alias Moore a black gown 
and a gray petticoat. 
Item, I leave and bequeath unto the poor 
of the parish, that is to say an English 
half crown, to Ewan Garret and to 
Catharine Watterson, and Ellin Faraher 
& eight shillings apiece. 
Item, I cut off all cravers else with six pence legacy. 
Lastly, I do constitute ordain and appoint 
my beloved sister Margott Kewley alias Moore 
Executrix of all the rest of my goods and 
chattels, of what denomination soever, 
excepting the trunk, is to return to heirs 
of Balldromey, for and earlum, after my 
sister Margott decease. In testimony whereof, 
I do subscribe hereunto this 24th day of 
November 1730.
