Castletown 1730

Alice Creer als Battersby departed this Life about
the 18th of Decr anno supradich. Intestate, whereof
the Court having Intelligence, hath decreed her 
Children viz Robt Walter, Margt & Henry Creer
sole and joint Admnrs of all her Goods & effects movea-
ble and immoveable whatsoever, who being under 
age, their aunt Jane [Hainie] is decreed Supervisor
& their father John Creer is sworn in form of
Law, & gave pledges, Mark Cain, Wm Carson & John
Komish

Decretum est & solvit

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Michael
June 15 1757

Robt. Creer & Walter Creer having certain
Goods due unto them by the decease of their
mother Alice Creer als Battersby secured
under Pledges in Lib. 3tio. 1730 departed this Life,
the former in his minority, & the latter beyond
Seas, as by Advice receivd. Intestate – The Court
upon Intelligence thereof hath Decreed their
Brother & Sister namely Hen: & Margt. Creer
joint Admrs. Of all their Goods & Chattells move:
:able & immoveable whatsoever – Henry being
abroad – Margt. Who has the whole of the Goods 
committed unto her is Sworn in form of Law, & has
given pledges for paymt. Of Debts & forthcoming
of Henry’s share of Goods, as also to restore
Walter’s part of the Goods in case he or his
legal representative shd demand the same
namely Thos. Cannell of KK Michl. Town, & Willm
Creer of KK Braddan her uncle.
