Maughold 1731

The last will and Testament of William Callow of Balleyilley
In KK Maughold parrish, who Departed this life on or about the
29th of June 1731, who was of good and perfect memory, he ~
committed his soul to God and his Body to Christian Burial
Impris He Left his son Christoper Callow his Horse wth seven
Sheep and seven Lambs being fould sheep; with his Best Coat
Vest Two paire of Breetches; and Three paire of stockings ~
and the Sayd Christoper to be at the Charges of putting a pole
=vash stone on the Testators Grave
Ittem be Bequeathed to his son William Callow his Big or
Rideing Coate and also he Bequeathed the Vicr of the ~
Parrish a Mutton he had in Ballnebarna for preaching his
Funrl  Sermon: also he Left and Bequeathed to his Grandson
William Callow all his whole Estate in Balleyilley and
Ballnbarna free and Debtless wthout and the Least ~
Incumbrance: Likewise he Left his Daughter
Elizabeth Curghey his Cows and Two Heiffers; with a sheep
and a yearling to her Daughter Jane; also he Left his son 
William’s Foure Children; Foure yearlings out of the fould
Being one to each of them; and another ewe yearling
to his Grandson and Godson William Callow in Duglas ~
Ittem he left to his Daughter Marjory a young sheep and
A Lamb of the Testator’s own; and in the Mountains;
Ittem he Left on his Daughter Elizabeth Curghey ~
Afforesd to send to his son Thomas Callow a shirt and a
Paire of stockings when ever he comes home being now
abroade; also he Left to his son Wm’s Daughter Elizabeth
a pearl to be received by her when she comes to age; and ye
same to remaine and continue in her Aunt’s hand Elizabeth
Curghery till she Come to Age as Afsd; also his Left to his
Grand Daughter Jane Curghey a Ring; also he left and
Bequeathed to his Afforesd Son Christoper Callow his Silver
Hookes and Eyes for a Cloack.

Lastly he Nominated and appointed his Deare and Loveing
Daughter Elizabeth Curghey als Callow afforesd sole
Administrator  Executrix of all the rest of his Goods moveable and
Unmoveable of wt Naturesoever; and his sayd Executor
To serve him to the Ground
