Lezayre Philip Quaile departed this life about the 25th of June last intestate, whereupon the court has decreed his children Philip and Jony Quaile joint administrators of all his goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever the next relation on the fatheršs side Wm Qaile supervisor who with Philip and his mother is sworn in court. Pledge for Philip Quaile are James Clark (Glentramman) and Jo Tear Pledge for Wm Quaile who has Joney's goods are Dan Cottiman and Nich Corlet At Kirk Michael 1 Nov 1734: Wm Quayle uncle of the administrator having in his hands the part of goods due to Jony Quayle does hereby deliver up to Wm Quackin stepfather of the administrator the whole of the said Jony's proportion exception half the sheep for which he stands accountable to the said Joney when at age either in kind, with their increase or according to the appraisements at her option obliging himself to take care of the other half as usual and to deliver to the said Quackin the whole wool of them the next summer on account of the orphans maintenance. Wm Quackin also engages to give the said Jony her choice of either the sheep or the value as above for which as also for the forthcoming of the rest of the inventory in his hands the said Quackin hath given pledges Mr Jo Kewley of KK Michael and Thos Corlet Toltawill in Lezayre. The dead's part of the lands prized as within to one pounds two shillings and six pence being the prime cost of the same is in the hand of Wm Quayle until the said sum be repaid him as he advanced the money on the account of the decease and is yet unsatisfy'd. John Woods Pledge for Philip Quayle the elder child that he will pay the debts and be just to his sister and pay her the proportion of goods due to her as also secure the office.
