This is affirmed to be the Last Will & Testament
Of John Cottier of BallaYeaman in Kk Marown  as he 
departed  this life the fifth day of March Anno 1732
he committed his soul unto the hands of god almighty
and his body to Christian Burial.  Item.  He left unto
his son wm Cottier all the goods in his own possession
Item:  he left unto his son John Cottier fo KK German
What goods was in his possession likewise, and
Lastly he nominated and appointed his Daughter in Law
Anne Cottier sole Exectrix of all the rest of his
Goods, Moveable and Immoveable of what nature 
So ever the day and year above written.

Margret Cannel her Mark X
                          The Exectrix sworn in Court 
                          In form of Law
                          Pledges are her son Robt. Cottier &
                          Her son in law Robt. Lewn
        22dn Octo 1733            Probatum & solvit 12d.

 
At a Consistory Court held in Kirk Michael 31st? Octbr. 1733
John Cottier of KK German objecting agt.(against) The within Will
In regard vizt. No legacy was left him by his father
As also  agt. the validity of the proof thereof, Robt. Kelly one 
of the witnesses being a man of most infamous life and at present 
sub nunos Excomunication – 
The Exectrix has consented to give him the sd.John  
Either a cow or 30 shills. He has accepted of the 30 shills
And thereupon all disputes touching the will are to cease.
 

14th Feb 1733  
Thos. Clucas enters a claim agt. The Extrx. Of John Cottier
         for the sum of 13s 6d & craveth trial

14th May 1734  
Capt. John Oates, enters a Claim agt. The Exetrix of Capt
                        John Cottier for the sum of £2.10s 0d.
