61					 KK Maughold

This is affirmed to be the last will & testament of William Cottear of KK Maughold 
who departed this life ye 8th of March 1732 he being of perfect mind & memory.    
Imprs: he committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial.    
Itm: He bequeathed to his loveing wife ye choice cow wholly to herself, and 
ye sheep in Creg yeamon equally betwixt her and his son James.   
Itm: he bequeathed to his son James half a cow (that the other halfe of belongs 
to Dan: Corkil).    
Itm: he bequeathed to Robt Allen junr a choice white ewe in Cregyeamon.   
Itm: he bequeathed to his daughter Catherine halfe the cow that John Callow 
has and the sheep on Folter[?] michall fold and in ye mountain adjoining.    
Itm: he bequeathed to his daughter Ellinr half ye cow in Ballafaile, and ye 
Kades & sheep on y ffolds about KK Maughold town.   
Itm: left to Wm Callow 6d for making his grave & y pence for being witness to 
his will.   
Lastly he did constitute and appoint his loveing wife whole & sole Executrix 
of all ye rest of his goods & chattels of what kind or denomination soever.
    
Wm:[?] Christian, Wm: Callow my mrk X, jurati.           

Within few hours afterwards he sent for us & declared that he left & bequeathed 
ye stier in Ballniyskeig equally betwixt his wife and son James provided he 
pleased his mother.   

The Execrx sworn in court and gave pledges are the witnesses
