 Archdeacon Will 1735 #47 Arbory, of Marjery Costean als Cubbon, died
about 23 February 1736/37

47                      Arbory 1735
This is affirm’d to be the last will of Marjery Costean als Cubon who
departed this life about the 23d of February being of sound mind, &
perfect memory at the making thereof.
   First. She commended her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
   Itm, she bequeath’d & left to her eldest son Robt Costean her pt of
the husbandry geers & a bowl of oates provided that, if her sd son had
no lawful issue, the ----ike geers & oates to fall to the succeeding
heir.
   To Alice her daughter a bowl of Mete-corn out of her pt of the Lime grounds.
   Itm she left & bequeath between has two daughters Alice & Marjery a
cow.   Itm a green apron to Alice.
  Itm to er daughter Marjery a blanket a black serge petticoat.
  To her daughters Marjergy & Jony all her shap’d linens.
  To Jony a black chamlet petticoat, & a sheet.
  Itm to Jony 20s in money.
  Itm to her youngest son Edward 20 shillings legacy.
  To her daughter Isabel a red-cloth-petticoat & ten shillings in money.
  Itm to Jony her daughter as much lindsey woollsey as wou’d make her a mantean.
  To her son Thomas a steer wth a white tail.
  To her daughter Christian 6 kizans of barley.
  To her son John her pt of the looms.
  Lastly, she nominated, appointed & ordain’d her loving husband
Robert Costean sole Exr of all the rest of her effects moveable &
immoveable whatsoever.

The Execr sworn in Court in form of Law, And has given pledges Wm
Cubbon of B:beg & Wm Quayle of KK Arbory.  The husband is also sworn
overseer of the orphans.  Probatum & solvit 12d.
