KK Andrews 1736

The last Will and Testamt of John Kaneen who departed this 
life about ye 2d day of July 1736, being of sound mind & 
memory at yd making thereof.
Imprs He comittedd his Soul to God & his body to Xtian burial.
Itm. He bequeathed to his two youngest sons William and 
Daniel thirty shillings each, together wth a sheep & lamb a piece.  
Itm. He left to John Sayle his shoes & stockins.  
Itm. He left to his son John, the Heir, habe ye xxxx goan 
and half ye Cropp, wth Crop. Tho. Cormoad one of ye witnesses  
Saith his heir is not to have till such time as he is possed 
of his part of the Estate.  
Itm. The Testator allowed his wife to redeem Kaneen’s Cross, 
and hold ye posession herself till ye Heir would redeem it 
from her.
Lastly, he nominated & appointed his wife sole exertr of 
all ye rest of his goods movable & unmovable whatsoever, 
And that she should continue ye possesion of the estate to 
ye expiration of twenty or one & twenty years.  
To ye witnesses 6d each; and to ye Heir a Sheep & a lamb.  
He left the tuition of the children & their goods to the widow. ----
