	In the Name of God ~ Amen. 
I Mary Corlet als Parre of Ballakaig in the parish 
of Ballaugh ; being Sick & Weak in body but of Sound 
Mind , Blessed be God , do make this My last Will 
Testamt.as foll.
First I commit my Soul to God & My body to christian 
Burial , in hope of a happy Resurrection thro the 
Merits of our Lord Jesus Christ . 		Secondly 
as to wh.worldly goods & Effects wth.wch.it hath pleased 
God to bless me , I dispose of the Same Thus ~ 
To the poor of Lezayres & this Parish I leave & bequeath 
the first of ten pounds equally to be enjoy'd after 
Death of my husband ; wch.sd.fritn , being My part of 
a Mortgage in Close & Bally , is by the respective Minister 
& Wardens of each parish to be laid out , & the Interest 
apply'd to the Benifit of the poor as above sd.for ever 
My sd.husband being determind to leave his part in like 
manner , as was concluded upon by Us long since. 
Itm I bequeath to my brothr.the sum of Eight pounds 
Itm To my aunt Mary Christian a prenella Gown , four 
Suite of Mobbs wth.Muslin Borders and a firlet of Mault 
at Michaelmass . Itm To my Sister in Law Eliz: 
Corlet als Parr my best Suit of cloaths , a prenella Gown 
& petticoat , and the rest of my headcloaths , of Wch.last 
in the house - To her I also leave my black Silk Apron 
Itm To my Aunt Margt.Parr I leave a Gold Ring & 
a choice Blanket .	To the Revd.Wm.Woods my 
best Gold Ring. And to Thos.Cannel a brown Steer 
Lastly I constitute & appoint my sd.dear & Loving husband 
Sole Executr.of all the rest of my goods chattles & 
Effects Moveable & Imoveable Whatsoever ~ In Testim:
