Be it Known Unto all Men by These presents ye.I John 
Cannell of the paarish of KK Michael with the Full Consent 
& assent of My wife Elinor Cannell als Caine Divers good 
Causes and reasons us there unto Moveing But Cheifly & More 
Especiallys For and Consideration of the Natural affection 
and Tender Love yt.we Bear Unto our only Son Thomas ~ 
Cannell Do by Deed of Gifft Freely Surrender and Deliver ~ 
up all the Whole right title or Interest yt.we have or 
May have Unto half of the Houses where we live and Gardens ~ 
thereunto belonging Also the Land purchased by us, together 
with the half of all the rest of our Effects Moveable and 
Immoveable what Soever To have and to Enjoy peaceabely 
and quitely Immediately affter ye.Dates, foreof And in like 
Manner The other half of all The afforesd.premisses ~ 
affter our Decease, without any Incumberance on the 
Same, He our sd.Son Thomas Cannell obligeing himself ~ 
hyres and assignes to pay The Annual Lords rent of the above 
Mention'd Houses and Lands and Doings and perfforming all 
other Duites and Services Incumbent & Due upon the Same 
Also in Consideration of this sd.Deed of Gift hath given Unto us 
his sd.parents a peice of Silver upon the Delivery hereof ~ 
And For the true and Just performance of all ye.sd.? 
all parties Concern'd have bound themselves in ye.penalty and 
fforffiture of Forty pounds the one half to our Honerble Lord and ye. 
othe half to the party agrived in Witness whereof They have Set 
their names & marks this 26th.May 1732 ~

The within Deed of Gift having been ~ 
Acknowledg'd before the Deemster ~ The ~ 
same is accepted for the Last Will of Ellinr.Sannell Als Caine & John Cannell 
the Fathr.is Sworn to pay the Debts of 
the Deed ~ who has the Goods 
continu'd in his hands. And if ye.Effects 
of ye.Dead is then to be taken, in order 
to be Secur'd by pledges ~ 	The Widower 
has Consented to pay his Son Thos.8 shills.~ 
in lieu of funrl.charges expended by him ~ 
Pledges for the Exr.are John Corlett & Thos. 
Cowley of Ballaugh according to Law ~
