		89 Michael, 1738 
The Last Will & Testament of Joney Quayle als Cannel 
of the parish of KK Michael, who departed this Life the 15th.of 
Decr.Anno 1738. And being in perfect mind & memory at 
the making hereof ~ First She committed her Soul to  
Almighty God and Body to Christian burial ~ 
She left and bequeathed to her Nephew Wm.Cannell all her 
Rt.& Title in the Quarterland of Ballameanagh, as became 
Due to her by the death of her Brother Philip Cannell ~ 
Itm.She left all wt.sheep belonged to her in BallaLug's 
fold, to her Brother John's children, equally betwixt them, 
Itm.She left to her sd.Brother John Cannell, twelve shillings 
of ye.money which he hath in his own hands. Item.She 
left to her Maid srvt.Jane Cannell a Black Gown, and 
a Suit of head cloathes, a piel of Yarn, and Bed-Cloathes toge: 
ather with an In-calf'd Cow agt.May next provided the sd. 
Jane Cannell quitts all demands for Wages, and be satisfied 
yt.she left to her Maid Srvt.Anne Kelly a Red petticoat and 
sheet. Item she left to her Niece Jane Caine a brown Mant 
? petticoat & twenty shills.in Cash. Item She left to her Niece 
Joney Quayle an Hood & what money was due to her from her 
sd.Niece Joney as also to her Eldest daughter Jane Quayle 
a Sheep & lamb. Item. She left to her God-daur.Joney Cannell a 
sheep & lamb. Item. She left to her God-daur.Joney Corlett twenty 
shills.in Cash. Item to her Niece Mary Cannell, now in Liverpool 
twenty shills.in Case she ye.sd.Mary shall come in person for it 
otherwise her Erx.not to be disturbed for it. Item She left to 
her Grand-daur.Ellinr.Quayle Forty shills.& a Feather Bed. ~ 
Item to her Grand-daur.Margt.Quayle four pounds & a Chest. 
And in Case her sd.Grand-children Ellir.& Margt.Quayle 
shall die Intestate their sd.Legacy's to be left in her Excrs. 
hands. And Lastly she Nominated and appointed her Son 
Wm.Quayle Sole Exr.of all ye.rest of her goods move: 
able & Immoveable whatsoever

Cannell late of KK Michael, do hereby acknowledge to have 
received from my father ye.Execr.of the last Will & Testamt. 
of my sd.Grandmother, the sum of Four Pounds, in full 
of the pecuniary Legacy bequeathed unto me by my sd. 
Grandmother, & do hereby acquit & discharge my sd.father 
his Execrs.& Admrs.of the same, Witness my hand this
