KK Braddan May 16 1738 Wm Clague of Ulican depted this life abt the 9 of March last, intestate, whereupon the Court has decreed his 3 children WmRobJo: & Tho: Clague sole & joint Admrs of all his goods & chattles whatsoever, the next relation on the father's side, Robt Lewn, Tho: Robt & Paul Clague overseers, & a legacy to the widow on sight of the Inventory. Decretum est Solvit 3s : 0d John Cosnahan Pledges for the widow, who has the goods & children, by the annex'd Agreemt are Wm Clague & Tho Mcylrea Mem. the inventory perform'd Braddan, 1738 Articles of agreement consented & agreed upon by and between Christian Clague widdow of Ulican on the one part, and Robt Lewn Robt Clague Thos Clague and Paul Clague on the other part as follows: First It is agreed upon that I the above Christian Clague do promis and settule upon my son and heir of Ulican my own part of the Crop together with my part of the husbandry gears after my disease, without any incumbrances, upon consideration of which, we the said uncles do alow her to have the benefit of the childrens goods and the tuition of the said children till they come to age without any moles- -lation of us supervisors. 2dly It is agreed upon that we the above uncles do surrender any right or tytle we have or may have by and dercee or will the said widdow without any lett or stop of us And to the above conditions and agreements both parties have bound themselves inthe penalty of ten pounds to be levied inthe nature of all fines within this Isle as wittness our hands and marks this 16th day of May 1738 Note before the signing hereof that } if none of her own children will be } heir of the above sd estate of Ulican } that then and in that case the above } mentioned crop is to fall to her own } next of kindred } Wittnesses Chris: Clague als Kelly my X Robt Lewn my mark X Phillip Lace Robt Clague my mark X John Stoale Thos Clague my mark X Paul Clague my mark X Braddan 1738 Oct 16 More to be added to the inventory of Wm Clague (Ulican) of KK Braddan To the deads part of two hundred stoocks of oates at four pence per stoock £1 : 0 : 0 to 15 stoocks of barley a 8d per stoock 0 : 10 : 0 to the hay 0 : 4 : 0 1 : 14 : 0 more in cash 2 - 0 - 0 3 - 14 - 0
