The last will of John Cannell of Kerrow glass who departed this life the
beginning of March last being of perfect mind and memory at makeing of the
same is in form following:
First He committed his soul to God Almighty and his body to Christian
burial.
Item he left to his loving wife his share of the rideing horse and of an
heiffer that was in the team and his share of what sheep was between himself
and Phillip Cannel and half of the sheep at home as legacy.
Item he left his granddaughter Ellinor Cain an ewe as legacy and an ewe to
Ann Croghen as legacy.
Item he left to his son John Cannell half of the crop of corn and hay and
half of the husbandry gears belonging to the farm and a colt and a young
bullock and another bullock of his said son would pay twenty shillings
toward the payment of his debts and he left his sd son his share of all the
deals in the house.
Item he left the other half of the sheep to be equally between his sd son
and his daughter Isabel Cannell as legacy.
Item: Lastly he appointed his said daughter sole executrix of all the rest
of his good movable and unmoveable whatsoever and this in the presence of us
whose names are here written this 2d day of April 1739.
