William Costean 1738

                  Arbory  1738

This is affirmed to the last will & testatment of
William Costean of Balla Chrink who departed this
life about the 20th of April, being weak in Body yet
of a sound mind & perfect memory at the making and
declaring. First he left & bequeathed to his only son John
Costean his riding horse, using the expression for I shall
never ride him, & for the rest they shall have no more but
what they have already got, & being ask’d by one of the                              
witnesses, to whom he left the crop the Testator reply’d
to my son & the goods to herself & the rest of my children
I cut off with 6d apiece legacy.


Made & declar'd in presence of
  William Cowley my W
  Harry Quill my H   Jurati.


The widow is sworn Execrx in form of Law, and the witnesses depose
that by the Expression herself us'd by the Testator, They apprehended
his wife the Relict.  Pledges in form of Law are Nich: Bridson &
Richd: Moore.   Probatum est & Solvit 12d.
