93 Castletown 1740 This is affirmed to be the last will & Testament of William Lawson who departed this Life about the 9th instant Decr being in perfect mind & memory at the making thereof. Impps He committed his soul to God & his body to Christian Burial. Item, he bequeathed to Richd Gill a gridle, & a malby coat Item he left to his loving Brother Edward Lawson a sittee Coat Item, he bequeathed to John Joughan ten shills a red waiscoat & a blanket, a flege, and four shills more in money. Item he bequeathed to Cath: Christian two shills & to her sister Mary Christian three shills. Item, he declared he was indebted to Rob Wainwrights widow seventeen shills, Item, that he owed John Clague seven shils & four pence. Item, To William Clague three shils for a heifer grasing. Item to Mrs Cath: Halsal two shills Brit. Item to Nics Webster two shill Brit Item to Thos Quay seven pence.
