This is affirmed to be the last Will & Testmt of Mary
Lawson als Creen, who departed this Life abt the 15
Inst Septr 1740

First She committed her soul to God & her body to
Christian burial.

Item, She bequeathed to her loving husband William
Lawson the bed & bed cloaths.

Item, She left & bequeathed to her loving husband af[sd]
the house entirely, he paying to her son John Cain fi[fty]
shills, when he shou'd come to demand it & in case her [said]
son shou'd not comes to demand them the sd fifty shills [are]
to fall to her sd husband.

Item, She left to he Neice Cath: Christian her woolen?
gown, her white petticoat & a pair of boddices & a ...

Item, She left to her God Daughter Wm Cains daughter
a little wheel & a hat

Item, She left to her neice Mary Christian her .....
mantle, & three pound of wool.

Item She bequeathed to her aforesd husband the heifer is ..
to pay off forty shills of the Debts, & the heifffer & Mare
himself.

Item she declared she was indebted to Richd Mullineux five ..
to Mrs Cath: halsal two & four pence to Wm Clague's wife s..
pence, to David Clague's widow a halfpenny, & to Richd Gawne
a penny & to Alice Niddeaugh two shills.

Item She left to her aforsd husband the crops & the spade ..
husbandry gears, & as to the corn wch was in the ground ...
left it to the paymt of the .....

Lastly She Constituted & appointed her aforesd husband
& her sister Christian Cowl joint Exrs of all the rest of
her Goods movebale & immoveable whatever, excluding any
person or persons claiming against her wth sixpence legacy.
She left to the witnesses of her will sixpence apeice legacy.
