The last will and testament of Issabel Lace als Kerruish
who departed this life January 24th, 1740, in perfect 
mind and memory at the making hereof. 
First, she committed her soul unto God and her body to Christian burial. 
Item, she left to her son Daniel Lace forty shillings, 
xxx, and a blanket, and what would be a pair of breeches of cloth. 
Item, to her son Ewan forty shillings, and one of the 
small beasts that was in the Curragh, a furnished 
feather bed; with the sheep in the Moon xxx xxxx xxx 
of the rest of the sheep, as much cloth as to make 
him a pair of breeches, and as much fledding as to 
make him a waistcoat. 
Item, she declared that her son in law William Callow 
of Cardal vegg was indebted to her the sum of thirty 
six shillings, of which she left sixteen shillings to 
himself and the other twenty to be paid to her executor. 
Item, she left to her son William the horse, an ox, 
and an half, and he to be kind to her executor. 
Item, to her daughter in law a brood goose. 
Item, to her daughter in Cardal, a green apron, 
and her children two yards of linen cloth. 
Item, to Isabel Corkish her maid a yard of linen, 
and to Isabel Christian a coif, to Esther Corteen 
a coife. She ordered that is any of the children 
died, the share of goods to fall to the rest excluding 
the hsir. To Margret Crinnil her wearing gown, 
and the petticoat belonging to it. To Catharine Joughin, 
and seven pence apiece to the witnesses of her will. 
And lastly, she named and appointed her daughter Isabel 
sole executor of all the rest of her goods moveable 
and immoveable whatsoever.

At a Court of Correction held at Lezayre the 6th Feb 1740/1
the executrix is sworn in Court in form of Law and has
