KK Concan July 18, 1740 John Skillicorn of Sulby in KK Concan departed this Life about the beginning of June last — Intestate --whereupon the Court hath Decreed his Son and Daughter John and Elizabeth Skillicorn joint Adminrs of all his Goods moveable and Immoveable whatsoever — who being a Lawfull years are Sworn in Court in form of Law — And have given pledges Nicho: Bridson Ballavarcus (?) & Robt Cannell Too Moad Decretum est Joh: Cosnahan Edv: Moore Solvie. 3S: 0. It is this day agreed upon by and between John Skillicorn and Elizabeth Skillicorn, both of KK Conchan, that the sd Eliz doth freely acquit and Discharge her self of all her right, tytle, and Interest, that she now has or hereafter may have, unto her part of the Crop and husbandry gears which is become to her by her father's Decease & surrenders same to her brother John upon consideration thereof I the sd John Skillicorn do deliver and surrender unto my sd sister Eliz all my part, Right, and tytle, that I now have or hereafter may have unto the money in the moaney moar, and all the money due as Interest upon the sd moaney As also giving her the sum of ten shills And in performance hereof both parties have bound themselves their Exors Admrs and Assigns in the penalty and forfeiture of fifty pounds to be Levyed in the nature of all fines accustomed within this Isle In witness where of we have sett our hands this 18th Day of July 1740 John Skillicorn Elizabeth Skillicorn Wittnesses present Robert Cannell John Kewley June 24, 1752 Edwd Waterson husband of Eliz: Waterson als Skillicorn acknowledges to have recd all & every the Goods Cash & Chattells due to his sd wife by the Decease of her Father John Skillicorn, and by the within Agreemt & does hereby acquit & discharge his Brother John Skillicorn his Exrs Adminrs & Assigns forever for the same This before me Ja: Wilks Ep Reg.
