The last will and testament of William Clucas who departed 
this life the 24th of April 1741, being of sound mind and 
perfect memory at the making hereof. 
First, he committed his soul to God and his body to 
Christian burial. 
Item, he left to his beloved wife thirty shillings. 
Item, he left his stepson John Oates which is in 
Douglas twenty shillings. 
Item, he left to his brother Thomas and sister 
Ellinor six pence legacy each. 
Lastly, he nominated and appointed Joney Clucas of 
the Gart sole executrix of all the rest of his 
goods moveable and immovable whatsoever. 
Witnesses: 
William Quirk, 
William Cubbon. 

Thomas Clucas husband of the executrix is sworn in 
Court in form of Law and has given pledges the 
witnesses of the will
