Archdeacon Will 1741 #44 Arbory of Robert Costean of BallaGlionuch,
Arbory, dated 25 April 1741


44                    Ap:25:1741
This is affirmed to be the last will & testament of Robt: Costean of
Ball Glionuch in ye Parish of KK Arbory, being weak in body but of
perfect mind & memory.
    First, He bequeath’d his soul to God & his body to Christian burial.
    Item, He left to his eldest son & heir John Costean all his
husbandry geers except on hedge spade & a turf piece and a parcel of
lime stones for wch he was to pay his Execx sixteen shillings.
    Item, He left to his son Edward twenty shillings.
    Item, He left unto his son Thoms: a gown & a sheet.
    Item, He left unto his daugh: Christian the right he had unto a
plough in his dau: in law Ann Clark’s possession.
    Item, He left unto his daugh: Marjery a bullock of five years old,
a fledge & a sheep.
    Item, He left unto his daugh: Joney ten shillings, a fledge a
blanket and a sheep.
    Lastly He constituted his daugh: Alice Execrx of all his other
goods moveable & immoveable.

Witnesses present:
  John Cowin my mrk X
  Eliz: Quayle my mrk X.

The Execrx sworn in Court in form of Law and hath given pledges John
Corrin & Thos Creer.
                                   Solvit 12d, Probatum est.   Joh:
Cosnahan, Edv: Moore.
        Octr 5th 1744: John Costean came this day and acknowledged
that he rec’d the legacy left unto him by his ffather from the Execrx
vizt a fledge spade a turf spade and a parcell of lime stones, and the
Execrx also acknowledges to have rec’d from the said John the sum of
sixteen shillings as mentioned in the said bequest.  Whereupon they
mutually acquit each other.

5th Oct 1744:  Marjery Costean came this day to the Registry and
acknowledged that she rec’d from the Execrx all the legacys left unto
her by the Death of her ffather and does hereby acquit and discharge
the said Execr for ever for the same before me, Robt: Radcliffe.
