The Last will & testatment of Katherine Lawson als Kneal
who departed this Life about ye 21st of February 1741
being sick in body but perfect in mind & memory at the make=
ing hereof. First, she committed her soul to God & her body
to christian Burial. Item She left to her husband her part of
the fishing nett with what-so-ever belongs thereto, & a peice of
cloth at home from the tuckmilln, & a cover laid upon his own
bed. Item she left to son David twenty shillings & a loom with
what appertains thereto, & a bed clothes. Item she left to her son
James twenty shillings, some part of ye same being due to him a=
fore, & the cover laid upon her bed & a blankett, and the nett that he
had already, & all the toolls that belong'd to himself. Item
she left to her daugher Katherine five & twenty shillings
a new manl and petty=coat a linnen=hood a looking glass and
an appron=checker, and as much yarn as she already had, &
a choice little wheell, and a table=cloth & a napkin. Item she
to her daughter Margt five & twenty shillings, her rideing
hood & her wearing gown, and her own yarn, & her choyce
of the two little wheells remaining. Lastly, she nominated &
apointed her four children vizt David, James, Katherine &
Margt joynt equaill Exes of all the rest of her goods move=
able & immoveable what so ever, & six pence to each the
wittnesses of her will, & her part of the cow to her Daugh=
ter Katherine

as also to be just the one to the other in
division of the Goods and have given
pledges vizt the witnesses of the will.
