The last Will and Testament of Ellinr.Corlet of Ballaugh 
who departed this life about the fifteenth of April 1742 
being of perfect Mind & Memory at the Making hereof 
Imps.She Committed her Soul to God, & Body to Christian burial 
2dly.She bequeathed a blue gown unto her Daughter Ellinr.Wife 
of Thos.Boddaugh, Excluding her sd.Daughter from further 
right to her goods 
3dly.She left a pair of Bedsteds to her Son Wm.Corlet with Six 
pence Legacy 
She also left the corn that was due unto her, from her Son 
unto himself he bearing all her funeral Charges except the 
Coffin wch.the Exr.should acct.for 
4thly.She left a Heifer unto her three Sons Robt. John & Thomas 
Equally betwixt them, with Seven Shillings unto her last mentioned 
two Sons (vizt.) John, & Thos. Equally betwixt them 
Item She left her part of the Sheep (vizt.) what remained after 
her funeral, with a peice of Stuff. a sheet, & her wearing Gown 
unto her sd. two Sons John & Thos. 
Item She left the wool in the house and the tow Cloath among her 
family as formerly 
She left one Shilling unto Each the witnesses of this will 
Lastly She nominated and appointed her Daughter Averick 
Sole Exrx.of all the rest of her goods
