CORKILL, William 1742-2 Mau A 98 0106218 This affirmd to be the last will & Testamen- of Willm Corkill of KK Maughold who departed this life on or about the 6th Janr 1742 ~ being of perfect memory at the making - hereof as follows ~ First he Commited his soul to God and his body to decent Christian burial – He left and bequeathed to his Son Jon Corkill all his right of the Crop of Corn & Team together with his part of the husbandary Gears, and that his son aforesd was obliged to pay to his two Daughters Jane and Isable Corkill the Sum of twenty Shillings equally between them. ~ ~ He left and appointed his loving wife Barbray Corkill als Kerruish whole and sole Execquitrix ofall the rest of his goods of what Nature soever ~ ~ Itm he left Six pence as Legacy to all Claimers Wittnesses hereunto William Creeir } Thomas Corkill } Jurati At a Court of Correction at Lezayre Jan. 31st 1742.
