The last will and testament of JOHN LACE 
of KK Andrews who departed this life Shrew 
Tuesday last and was of perfect and sound 
mind and memory at the making of it.  
First he committed his soul to God and 
body to Christian burial.  
Item, to his three SONS vizt., DANIEL, 
WILLIAM & THOMAS LACE he left five shillings apiece.  
Lastly he left his loving WIFE MARGERY 
LACE ALS CHRISTIAN all the rest of his 
goods with an obligation to take the 
tuition and care of his younger child 
and said withal, that it was slender a 
recompense for her towards the bringing 
up of his poor child. To the witnesses 
of this will he left six pence each.

MARGERY THE WIDOW is sworn Exeutrix and 
has the tuition of the children pursuant 
to the Will. Pledges in form of Law 
are the witnesses of the will
