Maughold This is affirmed to be the Last Will and Testament of Robert Callow of the Town of Ramsey who Departed this Life on May 14th 1744 Being of Good & perfect mind & memory at the making thereof. Itm He Commited his Soul to God and his Body to Christian Burial Item He Left to his Dear and Loveing wife his Part of xxx Horss & Hay then xxx during her naturrall Life and after Her deceass to Dan: Joughin his son in Law Itm He Left & Bequeath'd to his Grand Child Margrett Kissags Forty shillings --- Itm He Left to his Grand Child Robert Kissags his Part or sheare of Closser Croman in ye Prish of Lezaire and that after the Deceass of his Loveing wife Itm He Left to his Grand Child Ewan Joughin His Part or sheare of Loaney Curghey beg in ye Parish of Lazaire and that after the Decease of his Wife-- Lastly He nominated his Dear & Loveing wife Margrett Callow whole Extr of all the Rest of his goods of what: nature or kind soever-- And a shilling Legacy to each of the wittnesses and if any one make any Pretenes or strive to Brake ye said Will I leave them only Six penes Legacy each Dan: Garrett my X Nick: Quine my X Jurati Margt Callow the widow is Sworn in Court in form of Law and Consents to give her son in Law Dan: Joughin her part of the house after her Decease. she Consents to give unto her son in Law Wm Kissage fourty shill wch is to be paid him within three years next after the Date of these presents and by way of Agreemt in regard to Kissack alledged that no legacy was left him or his wife by the Testator Pledges for the Exectr are Wm. Curghy Balldromma & Wm Lace Vizt. Probatum est Joh: Cosnahan Edw: Moore May 14, 1745 Danl Joughin enter a Claim for 40 s due per Agreemt with Robt Callow with his xxx of Goods due xxx death of Christian Callow & for a Jacket & gown of Lace Wm Kissack enters a Claim for 40 s due per Agreement wth his part of ye Goods of xtian Callow wch were undivided Feb: 10 1746. Wm Kissack owns to have Rec'd from Margt the exetr of Robt Callow the Sum of fourty Shills menton'd in the above aggremt in regard no Legacy was left him. He owns also to have in his hands the Legacy of fourty shills left to his Daughtr Margt by the Testator — Robt Callow — and to be accountable to his se Dautr for the Same. And Acquits the Exetr of the same for ever -- before me Edw: Moore Novr 17th 1750 Robt Kissage son of Wm Kissage the Legatee mentioned in the within will being come to lawfull years came this day to the Registry & acknowledges to have recd from his Grandmother whatever was due to him by the will of his deceast Grandfather Robt Callow, and acquits the Exectr her [heirs] or Assigns for ever before me Jas Wilks
