The last will and testament of Dorothy Ellison who was of perfect mind
and memory at the making thereof on the 27th of Feb 1747.
She committed her soul to Almighty God and her body to Christian burial. She
left and bequeathed to her daughter Dorothy a red petticoat.
She left and bequeathed her grandchild Dorothy Colvin her white gown
and her painted petticoat.
She left and bequeathed to the aforesaid Dorothy Ellison and Catherine
Ellison the remainder of her wearing cloaths and linens only reserving
two caps or corfs for her son Richard's daughter.
She left and bequeathed to Cathrine Ellison the stuff for a gown.
She left and bequeathed the black and white gown to Cathrine Shimmin. She
left and bequeathed to her son John Ellison half a heifer.
She nominated and appointed her loving husband Silvester Ellison whole
and sole executor of the rest of her goods or effects of what nature soever
and six pence legacy to any person that would crave for the
future.

At a Chapter Court in Ballavagher Oct 19 1751
Dorothy Colvin als Ellison daughter of the within testatrix in behalf of
herself and her daughter Dorothy acknowledges to have received
whatever legacies were bequeathed to them by the within testatrix excepting
her share of a riding hood for which she makes no demand. This before me

Oct 24 1751 John Ellison son of the within testatrix acknowledges upon
the receipt of 2 4d from his father Silvester Ellison to be fully paid and
satisfyed for all legacies bequeathed him or his wife by his said mother
and acquits him and his exors forever for the same and the said Silvester
Ellison relinguishes all demands he has on his said son John for any
goods or accounts relative to said executorship.
